Per the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Presidio Education® will make strong effort to comply with applicable laws and rules, especially those, such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), pertaining to the privacy and protection of children.

 

Operators Collecting Personal Information 

Presidio Education® is the only entity collecting personal information from clients, including parents and students, and will not share private information, such as contact information, without consent from parents or legal guardians. Presidio Education® neither incorporates plug-ins into the corporate website nor incorporates online advertisements from external companies, organizations, or individuals for commercial or private gain. Description of How We Collect and Use Personal Information

Presidio Education® collects information from clients, including parents and students, such as children, that is only reasonably necessary to complete our service. We may collect the following information:

  1. We may collect personal information, such as date of birth, email addresses, phone numbers and academic information, from clients, such as students, including adults and children, in order to analyze academic, personal and/or professional goals, strengths and weaknesses. We will only request addresses, such as home, work, or meeting places, for in-person classes or if necessary to complete billing through online payment systems or bank transfers.

  2. We will not disclose personal information from children to third parties without parental or legal guardian consent.

 

Description of Parental and Legal Guardian Rights

Presidio Education® makes every effort to ensure parents and legal guardians understand our Terms and Conditions and their legal rights. Parents and legal guardians may review their following rights:

  1. We will not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in any Presidio Education® activity, such as academic training.

  2. Legal guardians, such as parents, can review their child’s personal information, request in writing Presidio Education® to delete such information and refuse to allow further collection or use of their child’s information.

  3. Legal guardians, such as parents, may agree to the collection and use of their child’s information, but request parts of their child’s information be withheld from third parties unless that is part of the service.
