No, high school students are not obligated to enroll in high school AP courses in order to take the same May AP exams; students may elect to self-study APs outside of high school

Self-studying is when high school students train for AP exams outside of high school; instead of taking high school AP courses, students receive AP tutoring from trained professionals in preparation for the same May AP exams

Do AP students need strong english writing skills?

College Board AP exams generally require strong English writing skills for the Section 2 free-response questions (FRQs)

Is AP English Language and Composition an Easy AP?

AP English Language and Composition, commonly referred to as "AP Lang", is arguably the hardest AP; statistically, AP Lang is the most taken AP exam around the world every year, but the average AP score is only around AP 2

How do your AP English Language and Composition students perform?

Currently, with our training all of our AP Lang students have earned perfect A grades in their high school AP Lang classes; all of our AP Lang students, including self-study students, have earned perfect AP 5 scores; however, all of our AP Lang students were very serious, hardworking students

How do your AP Students Perform after training?

Nearly all our students earn perfect A grades in their high school AP courses; nearly all our students earn perfect AP 5 scores on the College Board AP exams

Can students start AP training a few months before the May AP Exams?

We strongly recommend serious AP students start training over summer or in the fall; starting AP training in the spring a few months before the May AP exams does not leave sufficient time to learn the subject material, strengthen writing, sharpen time management, or complete diagnostic tests

How do AP Scores Help College Applications?

High AP scores vastly strengthen student portfolios for the college application process; high AP scores demonstrate strong discipline, critical thinking and writing skills; this is why many undergraduate schools also award undergraduate course credit for high AP scores

Are all AP Exams Considered Equal?

No, each AP exam has its own challenges, which makes some AP exams harder and some easier; that means undergraduate schools also analyze whether students took easier APs, harder APs, or a combination; taking the right APs will be the key difference on which undergraduate schools offer acceptance

Regularly volunteering demonstrates commitment, empathy, selflessness and compassion; volunteering encourages students to give back to communities
