Give the ACT a Try

The ACT and SAT are both popular standardized tests that are commonly used for college admissions. They generally cover the same topics and neither is more difficult than the other. However, students can perform better on one test than another, which is why figuring out which test works for each student is vital to their performance.

AP Human Geography covers seven units, which are on geographic methods, population, migration, culture, politics, agriculture, rural and urban land-use, and industrial development. Earn Perfect AP Macro Grades and AP Score

The most interesting aspect of AP Macroeconomics is really applying the concepts to the real world. One concept that intrigues me the most is how governments use economic policies to influence the economy. For example, students will learn how the combination of monetary policy and fiscal policy influences the nominal interest rate, price level, and even the real gross domestic product (GDP) of the economy.

Beach Cleanup in Hong Kong

Beach trash in Hong Kong mostly comes from Mainland China. Hong Kong borders the Guangdong province and the Pearl River Delta. Chinese cities in the Pearl River Delta include Foshan, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Dongguan. All of these cities are highly populated and produce a lot of daily trash. Many citizens from these cities dump their garbage directly into the river or ocean. Waste mismanagement also leads to the trash being dumped into the river or ocean. Large amounts of trash flow downwards out of the Pearl River Delta and into the South China Sea to Hong Kong.

Studying for AP United States Government and Politics as a 9th Grader

Studying for any Advanced Placement (AP) course is a grueling task. As a 9th grader, studying for AP United States Government and Politics, an upperclassmen AP, was excruciatingly stressful. Nevertheless, I had my eyes set on attending an Ivy League school, which meant that I had to work harder and smarter than other students. The key to dealing with pressure was to look at the big picture. APs, especially high-level ones like AP United States Government and Politics, immensely boost a high school resume. I reminded myself of my Ivy League goals every time I felt pressured. Therefore, although the pressures of studying an AP were unavoidable, I mitigated them by thinking about my college goals.

Social Distancing Urgency

During a pandemic, everyone’s responsibility is to keep themselves and the people around them safe. In order to avoid unknowingly getting themselves or others sick, people need to practice proper self-quarantine and maintain good social distancing. A large factor causing the massive COVID-19 outbreak currently ravaging the United States is the irresponsible actions of a few individuals leading to the infection of many more. This sort of behavior has to stop if we hope to slow the pandemic.
